Intel® Corp. reached a four-year high in microprocessor market leadership in the second quarter of 2009 reaching 80.6 percent of global MPU revenue. This is the largest share of global MPU revenue since Intel® claimed 82.4 percent of revenue in the third quarter of 2005 (source: iSupply).
But not just in the PC, Notebook and Server markets is Intel® increasing its market share: also embedded developers are migrating from various processor architectures to the popular Atom platform.
