professional engineering device programmer

The 1700 Universal Engineering Programmer is the industry standard for programming speed, device support and flexibility. It combines the industry's fastest programming technology, 0.24s/Mb, BP Micro's new FX4 socket modules and support for over 18,000 devices. By programming up to 4 devices at a time with FX4 socket modules it's ideal for low volume production of high density devices. Since it supports over 18,000 devices with both regular and FX socket modules, it's also ideal as an engineering device programmer.

high volume production programmer

The 4700 is designed specifically for today's highest density devices and their longer programming times, making it the fastest at programming Flash, while still offering the versatility to program Microcontrollers, FPGAs, PLDs and all other device types. Universal programming is achieved by simply using the appropriate ASM, FX and our FX4 socket module. By combining the industry's fastest universal programming technology, 64Mb in 15s*, and BP Micro's FX4 socket modules, which can program up to four devices simultaneously, the 4700 can program up to 44 devices at the same time resulting in four times the throughput. High-speed Flash Memory on-board Programming

The bdiPro is a powerful software package, allowing on-board programming with ABATRON's BDM/JTAG Interfaces BDI1000, BDI2000 and BDI3000. bdiPro eliminates the inefficient, individual chip programming, particularly for surface-mounted designs. The unprogrammed memories can be soldered to the printed circuit board and programmed simultaneously on a just-in-time basis. The Windows based user interface offers easy operation and several advantages for on-board programming.

Highlights

  • High-speed flash memory on-board programming via BDM/JTAG interface flash programming via JTAG or BDM
  • Programs all popular flash memories
  • Host access via RS232 (up to 115 Kbaud) or Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s
  • Configurable program sequences for target system initialization
  • 8, 16, 32 and 64bit programming modes
  • Load and edit memory image
  • Calculation of checksum
  • Memory dump and verify functions
  • Store and recall user defined program sets
  • bdiPro for HC12 supports batch programming of internal flash memory (suitable for automatic production)
  • Windows based user interface offers easy operation.
  • 3 years hardware warranty
